Kouri Richins, a Utah mother and children's book author, was convicted on March 16, 2026 of aggravated murder and four other felonies for the 2022 fentanyl poisoning death of her husband Eric Richins. After approximately three hours of deliberation, the jury found her guilty on all five counts; she faces 25 years to life in prison at sentencing scheduled for May 13, 2026.
