Nancy Guthrie, 84-year-old mother of TODAY show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona home in the early hours of February 1, 2026. More than 61 days later, no suspect has been publicly identified and no arrest has been made. A law enforcement insider has alleged the PCSD supervisor assigned to lead the homicide investigation had never previously worked a homicide case, while Savannah Guthrie has stated the family accepts Nancy may no longer be alive and is seeking her return for a Christian burial.
